really good lodging experience

central location helpful host

the location was great it allowed quick access to the beach. the room included a comfortable bed i slept soundly. i also appreciated the friendly and helpful host. claire and steve are wonderful hosts and really made my stay nice

the room lacked heating when i returned at night it was quite cold. this was particularly noticeable because the night was unusually cold. i hope they address this

the location was acceptable it was near shops and amenities

check in was not smooth i had to wait after my journey there was no hairdryer provided i could not dry my hair near a socket the room smelled of dog so air fresheners were everywhere

lovely, bright room!

high ceiling big window new shower

the room was lovely! it was bright with a high ceiling and big windows. the ensuite bathroom was newly done and the shower worked great. the owner seemed personable? and i plan to return on future trips.

i got phone calls asking how far away i was when stuck in terrible traffic.. late check-ins are not allowed. upon arrival, i was told not to bring smelly food into the room, when i had just arrived after traveling. this made me feel a bit unwelcome

the location was central (i could walk to most places easily). the room was clean with lovely bedding. they responded quickly to my extra requests.

fantastic room and location

bright room big windows

The room was very tidy (i loved the high ceiling and big windows). the ensuite bathroom looked newly done. The shower was really good. i made sure to book through their website. It gave me the best prices.

I was asked a few times how far away i was when i was stuck in really bad traffic. they do not accommodate late check-ins. i was informed on arrival not to bring hot food into the room. I had just arrived after traveling and was tired.

The location of this place is great. It is only a five minute walk to the beach. street parking is available (purchasing a parking ticket from the owner is definitely worth it). the staff are very polite and happy to help with anything.

The bed was really comfortable. The location was great. A short walk got me to the beach.

Parking was difficult. I suspect this is a general problem in the area. The shower room was very small. I paid extra for a twin room that I believed I had already booked.

the location was GOOD, just a street away from the seafront. i especially liked the cosy bed and slept VERY well.
